Session: From Prompt to Product Outcomes: Building AI Agent Workflows Across the UX Research Lifecycle
UX researchers are expected to move from ambiguous problem spaces to decision-ready evidence, often under tight timelines and with limited support. This talk presents a practical, end-to-end approach for using AI across the UX research lifecycle, with a focus on building lightweight AI agents (“micro-agents”) that support repeatable work while preserving research rigor. Grounded in real workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio; I will demonstrate how to apply AI to accelerate research planning, support execution, strengthen synthesis, and improve stakeholder communication.
The session will also introduce a lightweight approach to AI agent evaluation—using a small set of scenarios and a simple scorecard (usefulness, reliability, user control) - to quickly identify where an agent helps, where it breaks, and what to improve. Attendees will leave with reusable templates, agent blueprints, and a repeatable workflow they can apply immediately.
